Is there an AI SEO tool where someone does the fixing for you? (Malaysia)
EasyFound · · 8 min read
Yes, but what you want is a tool with a team behind it, not software alone. The tool checks what AI tools such as ChatGPT say about your Malaysian business, and people change your website and listings once you approve. You still supply the facts and the access. Asked two versions of this question twice each through OpenAI's API, ChatGPT said all four times that the done-for-you kind is usually a service or managed plan.
Yes. For a Malaysian business, an AI SEO tool where someone does the fixing for you is a tool with a team behind it: the tool checks what AI tools such as ChatGPT say about your business, and people make the changes to your website and listings once you approve them. A tool on its own mostly reports and suggests. Either way, you still supply the facts and say yes to each change.
Our made-up example, not a client or a finding: the founder of a small HR and payroll software company in Petaling Jaya hears that a prospect asked ChatGPT for payroll software and got a competitor's name. He wants someone else to fix it. The days and weeks below are illustrative too, not a promised schedule. Software alone mostly won't (software or agency).
ChatGPT agrees the answer is mostly people. Asked this question in two wordings, twice each, through OpenAI's API, all four answers said the done-for-you option is usually a service or a managed plan rather than do-it-yourself software. The second wording already asked for a team, so read that as agreement, not proof.
Day 1: what does the first AI SEO check show the software company?
The first check shows what AI tools such as ChatGPT say about the software company today, and which pages they lean on. AI SEO here means getting AI tools to name your business with the right facts, also called GEO (generative engine optimisation). Our owner sees whether he is named when a prospect types "Can you recommend payroll software for a small company in Malaysia that handles EPF and SOCSO?", and which details, such as an old feature list, are out of date.
The page list matters because a fix only works where it lands. Businesses' own websites were the largest group of the 482 pages ChatGPT cited in our September Malaysian test, at 34%, so most cited pages sat on other sites.
Week 1: which kind of AI SEO tool does the fixing for the software founder?
The AI SEO tool that does the fixing for a software founder is a tool with a team: people at the provider make the changes, using the tool's findings.
What are the four kinds of AI SEO tool?
AI SEO tools come in four kinds, named by who makes the change (our description by type, not a survey).
- Tracking tool. Nobody: it only reports what AI tools say. You make every fix.
- Tool that drafts or applies fixes. The software, on the pages or profiles it's connected to. You approve, and usually fix your listings yourself.
- Tool with a team (done-for-you). People at the provider. You supply facts, give access and approve each change.
- Agency with its own tools. The agency's staff. You do the same, plus ask which AI tools they check.
The catch with automatic fixing is reach: a tool can change only what it's connected to, usually your website, and some local SEO tools also your Google Business Profile. For which tool type fits by language and time, see tool types.
What should the software founder ask an AI SEO provider?
The software founder can tell whether an AI SEO tool really does the fixing by asking who does the implementation:
- Who makes each change, and where? Website only, or your listings too?
- Do I see each change before it goes live? If not, walk away.
- Will I get a list of what changed, with links? Scores alone show no work.
- How many new pages will you publish? Google's spam policy warns: "Scaled content abuse is when many pages are generated for the primary purpose of manipulating search rankings and not helping users."2
- What stays mine if I stop? Your website, listings and logins should stay in your name (monthly reports).
Week 2: what does the software founder hand over before the AI SEO fixing starts?
Before AI SEO fixing starts, the software founder hands over three things:
- Facts only he knows. Features that are live today, which plan includes which feature, the integrations that really work, what changed this month.
- Access, without his password. Google says that to manage Business Profiles "without the need to share your password, each user needs their own Google Account"1. A manager can edit your info but can't remove the profile. His website gets a separate provider login too, such as a WordPress user.
- A yes or no on each change. He reads every new page, help doc and listing edit before it goes live.
Weeks 2 to 4: what does the AI SEO team fix for the software company?
The AI SEO team fixes every page AI tools read, so all of them say the same, correct things about the software company. Rows are examples, not findings.
| Example fix | Who can make it |
|---|---|
| Product page facts as plain text: what the software does, who it is for, statutory items it handles (EPF, SOCSO, PCB), languages, support hours, WhatsApp number, SSM registration | The team, with its own website login |
| A page for each task customers ask about, such as running payroll for part-time staff | The team, once the owner approves it |
| Feature and pricing-page wording that says plainly which plan includes which feature | The team, once the owner approves it |
| Google Business Profile for the office matched to the website: name, phone, hours | The team, as a manager on the profile |
| Software comparison and review directory listings, and the Facebook page: old feature lists and old numbers corrected at the source (fixing wrong details) | The team, where it has the logins |
| Help docs that answer real questions, such as whether it produces year-end EA forms | The team, once the owner approves it |
| For a renovation contractor instead (another example): a page per job, such as a condo kitchen or a bathroom retiling, with CIDB registration in plain text | The team, once the owner approves it |
| His SSM record | Only the owner |
ChatGPT saw the fixing differently: three of its four answers described the fixing mainly as Google search and Maps work, such as technical SEO, Google Business Profile updates and review replies, rather than work on what AI tools say (CSV).
Where EasyFound sits in this timeline. EasyFound sells an AI visibility tool, so read this as our claim about ourselves. The tool shows what AI engines say about you (six in the checks our team runs), the pages they cite, and a fix list in order. Today our team makes each change by hand once you approve it. Drafting inside the tool is coming: it is in final testing, not released, and has no release date. Self-serve sign-up for the tool isn't open yet; it has a waitlist.
Week 6: what does the software founder look for when AI tools are asked again?
When AI tools are asked again after the fixing, the software founder looks for his correct details in answers to the Day 1 questions, next to the list of changes. AI answers change often, so he judges a run of re-checks, not one answer; EasyFound's re-check asks the same questions again on a schedule, daily by default.
What this example can't show. We have an interest: we sell the tool-with-a-team kind. ChatGPT's view is four answers from one day, through OpenAI's API, not the ChatGPT app. And we haven't measured the payoff of done-for-you fixing on how often a business is named.
How do I start the same timeline for my own business?
Getting the fixing done starts with knowing what AI tools say about you now.
- Request EasyFound's free check. It shows what ChatGPT tells your customers about your business, before anyone touches your website.
- Write down the facts only you know, before anyone asks.
- Ask any provider the five questions above, and keep the owner logins yourself.
- Keep the questions from your first check, so the re-check asks the same ones.
EasyFound is an AI search visibility (GEO) tool built for Malaysian businesses. For an owner who would rather keep working, the tool finds what AI gets wrong about you, and our team fixes the pages behind it by hand once you say yes.

Frequently asked questions
Can an AI SEO tool fix my website automatically?
Some AI SEO tools say they can apply changes to your website pages automatically once they are connected to it, and others only list or draft fixes. An automatic fix reaches only what the tool is connected to, usually your website. Your Google Business Profile, directory listings and Facebook page each need their own access, so for a Malaysian service business a person usually still makes those changes, with your approval.
Is it safe to let an AI SEO provider edit my website and Google Business Profile?
It is safer when the provider gets its own login instead of your password. Google says each Business Profile user needs their own Google Account so you don't have to share your password, and a manager can edit your info but can't add or remove users or remove the profile. Do the same on your website: create a separate user for the provider, ask to see each change before it goes live, and remove their access when the work ends.
Can Google penalise my site if an AI SEO tool writes lots of pages for me?
It can if the pages are mass-produced to manipulate rankings. Google's spam policy says 'Scaled content abuse is when many pages are generated for the primary purpose of manipulating search rankings and not helping users.' A few pages that answer real customer questions, with facts you have checked, are a different thing. Ask any done-for-you provider how many pages it plans to publish and who checks them.
Is done-for-you AI SEO worth it for an aircon or renovation business in Malaysia?
It is most worth it when your customers ask AI tools such as ChatGPT for a contractor before they call, and nobody in your business has time to edit the website and listings. Check first what ChatGPT says when someone asks for your trade in your area. If it already names you with the right details, light re-checks may be enough. If it names others or gets your details wrong, done-for-you fixing saves you the hours.

Our data: the ChatGPT figures come from four answers collected on 21 October 2026: this article's title question, and "Which AI SEO software has a team that does the fixing for you, best options for an aircon or renovation company in Malaysia?", each asked twice through OpenAI's Responses API (gpt-5.4-mini, web search available, location Malaysia), not the ChatGPT app. ChatGPT searched in three of the four. Which answers called the done-for-you option a service, and what each described as the fixing, is our reading of the full answers (CSV; providers' sites replaced with type labels).
